A graduate of the University of California Dental School, Dr. Corbett completed his postdoctoral orthodontic program at the University of California Dental School and has served on the pedodontic faculty. He is a past president of the California Society of Dentistry for Children. He was a co-founder of the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education (F.A.C.E.) and has served as a consultant to the Army-Navy Orthodontic Training Program. Throughout his profession he has been published in multiple professional journals and newsletters. Dr. Corbett has lectured throughout the United States and in 41 foreign countries. His special interest is in growth and development with an emphasis on treatment planning. Dr. Corbett is practicing orthodontics exclusively in La Mirada, California.

He is also Vice President of the Scientific Committee of AIO (Ibero-American Association of Orthodontists), a founding member and a chairman of the 3rd International Congress of the World Society of Lingual Orthodontics (WSLO) and a delegate at the WFO (World Federation of Orthodontics). A collaborating professor in Orthodontic Masters Studies at the University of Barcelona and Director of the Ortodoncia Clinica Journal, Dr. Echarri is a former President of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO) in 2002-2004. He has memberships in over 14 associations and societies in the Orthodontic industry. Dr. Echarri has published 7 books, including his most recent accomplishment "Microimplants and Orthodontics", and has written over 75 articles in orthodontic journals in eight countries. |
