in 1987, original Concept set the standard for a posterior indirect composite
restorative material. New Concept HP maintains the high performance levels
of its predecessor, with even better wear resistance, unparalleled precision,
proven longevity and outstanding esthetics. Its unique combination of
microfill dentistry and+ heat and pressure curing provide long lasting
results. Improvements have been made in the material’s shade range,
radiopacity, layering fabrication protocols and ease of handling.
Since Concept HP is a reinforced microfill resin material, it is ideal
for posterior applications demanding high wear resistance as well as wear
compatibility with opposing dentition. Microfill chemistry makes surface
polishing easier and restorative margins disappear, ensuring long-term
esthetic success for the patient and the clinician.
Concept HP’s expanded range of five enamel shades optimizes the
material’s esthetic options. The system also includes a full range
of modifiers for custom characterization within each layer of the build
up process.
Built on Proven Microfill Technology
Concept HP is laboratory-polymerized with high heat and pressure in
a nitrogen atmosphere using the new HiPT curing unit. The resulting more
effective and efficient final cure ensures a more dense material, a higher
degree of polymerization, higher strength and long-term durability. Shrinkage
stress on restored teeth is minimized.
Incorporates Latest Advances In Resin Technology
Concept HP’s new micro-hybrid “dentin” base material
increases bond strengths and provides greater visibility on radiographs.
And, the microfilled outer “enamel” layer’s expanded
shade range and modifiers maximizes polishability, surface smoothness
and ensures natural customized esthetics. In combination Concept HP is
even easier to handle than the original.
