1. Try-in wing bridge to verify fit and contact.
  2. Silicoating is available from Aurum Ceramic/Classic to maximize the adhesive result.
  3. Clean abutment teeth thoroughly with a bristle brush (either dry or with pumice powder and water) or intraoral sandblaster (Micro Etcher) to remove plaque and debris. Do not use a commercial prophy paste as it contains oils that can weaken bond.
  4. Wash surfaces thoroughly with an abundant amount of water and adequate evacuation for 15 to 30 seconds. Dry completely with a clean, oil free air supply for 15 seconds.
  5. Isolate surfaces from mouth fluids with well-placed rubber dam or adequate cotton rolls or sponges, and from adjacent teeth with Mylar strips.
  6. Use 30 to 40% acid-etch solution or gel. Use small sponges or cotton pellets to saturate tooth surfaces (lingual only) for 30 to 60 seconds. Use a continuous, gentle wiping motion. Do not rub. Rinse well with water and evacuation for 30 seconds.
  7. Replace cotton rolls if needed and dry surfaces thoroughly (i.e., 15 seconds).
  8. Apply unfilled resin as per manufacturer's instructions if needed.
  9. Mix self-cure adhesive system using same proportions as determined during esthetic try-in. Mix paste according to powder-to-liquid ratio suggested by manufacturer (should result in consistency of thick honey).
  10. Paint abutment teeth and metal with thin layer of cement.
  11. Seat restoration. While holding it in place, use a disposable brush tip to wipe away all excess resin at the margins and interproximally around the pontic sections. Hold until cement is set. Light cure the periphery if the cement is dual-cured.
  12. Verify occlusion. Finish with disks or diamonds (do not overheat). Use composite carbide finishing burs for final finishing. Polish with microfill composite with abrasive strips and disks.
  13. Instruct patient on proper care.
