At room temperature, Kinetex wire is soft, pliable and easy to engage. This allows the clinician to engage a wire earlier in treatment. At body temperature, Kinetex exerts a light, constant, super-elastic force. This allows gentle alignment and earlier torque with fewer archwire changes. Made from a special nickel titanium alloy that provides maximum spring and memory while minimizing fracturing.
