Simple Procedure:

  1. Micro sandblast surface to be bonded.
  2. Choose tip (cotton ball for rapid coverage or felt tip for precise coverage).
  3. Saturate tip in solution.
  4. Connect grounding lead (cathode) to metal structure.
  5. Plate with oscillating motions.
  6. Observe colour change:
    • Gold: Tin plate until the sandblasted dull gold surface changes to a silvery grey-white
    • Palladium: Plate until the sandblasted dull grey surface changes to a satin grey-white.
