9.5% hydrofluoric acid gel used to etch porcelain when repair of fractured porcelain or bonding to porcelain for other reasons is required. ETCH-GUARD is a neutral gel used to coat tissue and areas adjacent to the etch site to prevent accidental contact of the etchant to non-etch areas. PRILANE is a prehydrolized silane that is placed on the etched surface to reduce surface tension.
