Tournament Players Clubs are known throughout the industry as leaders in providing exceptional golf experiences. Situated on 250 acres just 12 miles from downtown New Orleans, the TPC Louisiana serves as home to Louisiana’s only PGA TOUR event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The spectacular par-72, championship layout was designed by world renowned golf course architect Pete Dye with the assistance of PGA TOUR Players, Steve Elkington and Kelly Gibson and features stunning natural vegetation, including an abundance of cypress trees. The course is completely self-contained, surrounded on three sides by drainage canals with no residential housing on the golf course.

This PGA TOUR Facility opened in April 2004 and earned the distinction as the No. 4 Upscale Public Golf Course For 2005 in Golf Digest’s annual listing of the best new facilities in America and as “One of the Best New Courses to Open in the United States in 2004” by Travel & Leisure Golf. Other awards include: 4 ½ stars – Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play” 2006/2007; and the 2007 GolfWeek’s “Best Courses You Can Play”.

The TPC Louisiana was created to not only challenge the top golfers of the world but to also provide a challenging and fun experience for players of all calibers. The course offers four sets of tees, and even though the championship course stretches to 7,300 yards from the championship tees, there is a collection of short but challenging par-4 holes that complement some of the longer ones. According to architect Pete Dye, “We've got some pretty nice, short par 4s that are really the heart of the golf course".
