Dentistry that is
esthetic to the patient is an important clinical objective.
Today, dentists can offer more treatment options for patient’s
complex problems. Until recently, few research reports attempted
to study the long term use of all-ceramic materials or factors
that relate to their performance without modelling data.
This presentation provides a comprehensive look at failure
modes and effects in bilayer all-ceramic crown-cement-tooth
systems, based on original research studying the clinical
behaviour of over three thousand all-ceramic restorations.
