Dr. McGarry received his DDS degree in 1975 from UMKD
School of Dentistry, his certificate in Prosthodontics
in 1978 from UCSF/VA San Francisco and became a Diplomate
of the American Board of Prosthodontics in 1991. He is
a Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists Classification
System Subcommittee and the Parameters of Care Subcommittee.
He was the founder of the Oklahoma Section of the ACP as
well as a founder of the Oklahoma Society of Prosthodontists.
Dr. McGarry is also a member of the Academy of Osseointegration,
the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Academy of
Prosthodontics and the American College of Dentists.
He
has held full and part-time faculty appointments at both
the protectoral and postdoctoral levels at the University
of Missouri School of Dentistry, University of California
School of Dentistry and the University of Oklahoma School
of Dentistry. Additional teaching activities include consultant
to St. Anthony’s Hospital General Practice Residency
and Preceptor for the University of Oklahoma Dental School. Dr. McGarry maintains a full-time private practice limited
to Prosthodontics.
