"This female patient, as well as her family, has been a patient in my practice for many years. She presented with a crooked smile, even holding her head at an angle. As a result, the patient never smiled despite having a wonderful sense of humour. When offered the option, she eagerly jumped at the chance to makeover her smile.

We discussed the alternatives and decided to treat #4 through #13 with IPS Empress veneers and to place an IPS Empress onlay on #14. The patient also wished to have her teeth whitened. Prior to treating this case at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, I choose to have Aurum Ceramic/Classic complete a diagnostic wax-up to determine the proper shape, contour and length of the teeth.

With the completion of the case, the patient is all smiles now! "Words can't describe the way I feel about my new smile. It's amazing." As you can see from the After photograph, we achieved all of our objectives. In fact, look at the lower lip line. It's not pouched out any more. Dr. David Jones graduated with a DDS degree from the University of Nebraska, College of Dentistry. Following his graduation, he moved to Muskogee, OK where he first began practicing in 1979 and continues to practice today. Dr. Jones has been committed to an approach and attending a wide range of continuing education programs focusing on "providing better smiles". In 1989, he built a new office to reflect the "state-of-the-art" dentistry he practices today.

Dr. Jones is one of the founding members of the North American Neuromuscular Study Club (NANSC) and has served as its President for the last four years. He lectures regarding the use of computerized diagnostics in conjunction with "state-of-the-art" materials and holds memberships in the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, American Association of Functional Orthodontists and the American Orthodontic Society.
