"This case is
an incredible example of how improving a person's smile can dramatically
change the appearance of their whole face. The most obvious shortcoming
of the 'Before' picture is the lack of visible teeth and the reverse
smile line. By adding length to the maxillary incisors and allowing
the incisal edges to follow the lip line, a better-proportioned,
esthetically pleasing smile is created. A common reaction by this
patient is the much broader smile when they are proud of their
new look. This result was achieved with Empress restorations on
teeth 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25. Teeth 33 and 43
were also restored with Empress restorations to achieve proper
cuspid guidance during lateral excursive movements."
