Adequate initial strength is required for successful, long-term all-ceramic bridge restorations, preventing cracks, fatigue, stress and corrosion. At 1121 MPa, Procera AllZirkon densely sintered zirconium oxide frameworks offers a biaxial strength far exceeding its milled bridge competition (930 MPa) or Alumina (690 MPa). The result: three to four unit all-ceramic bridges that can be used anywhere in the mouth. Like Procera AllCeram, AllZirkon restorations are produced through a computer-aided dental design (CADD) process that guarantees high precision and optimal fit. The veneering ceramic is specifically designed to complement the translucency and fluorescence of the zirconium oxide core. You can also include porcelain margins for even more breathtaking results. Procera AllZirkon is easy to work with because you can prepare and cement like an ordinary porcelain-fused-to-metal restoration (NO dentin bonding required) – a valuable chair time saver! Using typical crown and bridge shoulder/heavy chamfer preparations and traditional cementation techniques, a four-unit metal free bridge cannot only be predictable, but highly esthetic. Densely-Sintered Zirconium CoreThe Procera AllZirkon bridge framework is custom milled from a solid piece of densely sintered zirconium oxide, offering the ideal combination of high esthetics, strength and biocompatibility. This yields a uniform space between crown and tooth providing optimal fit to the tooth’s shape and allowing the restoration to be properly seated with ample space for cement. Naturally Beautiful EstheticsNatural teeth transmit and reflect light. Procera AllZirkon frameworks and veneering porcelain combine to form a restoration that mimics naturally vital teeth in appearance, behaviour and longevity. The translucency of the zirconium oxide substructure enhances the natural appearance, yet it is also excellent for concealing underlying surfaces such as amalgam or root fillings. |
