- Using a bur, roughen
up the surface of the break point and place undercuts in adjacent areas.
- Apply bonding agent
and cure according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Dispense fresh
mix of Temporary material into all areas.
- Hold parts together
for one minute. Wait six minutes before removing excess with rotary
instruments.
NOTE: While the mix appears to be very hard
in 60 to 90 seconds, the polymerization is not complete until about 6
to 7 minutes. To speed up polymerization, the repaired temporary may be
put into warm water (50° C/122° F) for a few minutes.
