Fast - Accurate - Precise - Esthetic - Flexible

Both clinician and laboratory technician face many challenges in the practice of implantology - time constraints, angulation, and implants placed too deep sub-gingivally to name just a few. One of the most important of these challenges is the lack of a Zirconia option from some of the implant companies, especially when an implant is obsolete. Now, with our exclusive AurumTek™ Zirconia Abutment, the Implant Team at Aurum Ceramic/ Classic has the capability to custom design and mill abutments to meet your individual requirements and each particular case situation.

As these abutments are designed and milled in-house at Aurum Ceramic/Classic, not only is the precision and accuracy of the restoration assured but it is also becoming increasingly possible to meet very tight deadlines. Previously, most implant CAD/CAM designs had to be outsourced to another facility (sometimes half way around the world) for milling. This resulted in waits ranging from 4 working days up to 3 weeks just to get an abutment
back in-lab.

AurumTek™ abutments can be fabricated in as little as two days in-lab, providing reliable timelines to move the case along in a more streamlined manner. In combination with new digital impression systems (such as Cadent iTero™) that replace conventional
impressions with 3-D, computer-rendered optical scans, workflow can be simplified from initial impression right through to the final restorative result. Even large full arch or full mouth combination cases can be completed relatively quickly and reliably.

Best of all, AurumTek Abutments are a truly esthetic alternative. They can be tinted to the appropriate shade, rather than the typical bright white Zirconia shade that many of the systems
currently provide.

  • Utilize titanium base (versus all Zirconia base) that prevents fracturing (stresses from fastening screw at torque of 35 ncm focused on titanium rather than Zirconia).
  • Fabricated utilizing either fully digital design to create proper contour, shoulder depth, angulation, axial wall height, retention, etc. or coping manually waxed directly to the titanium base (both the base and coping then scanned for milling using the Wieland or Lava Zirconia milling systems).
  • If case involves implant system that is either obsolete, or doesn’t provide zirconia abutment option, can utilize that system’s titanium abutment to manually wax and scan an AurumTek coping and turn a satisfactory result into a great result.
