Dr. Tim Adams is a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry where he taught clinical dentistry for 5 years. In 1997, he was chosen out of thousands of dentists to become a Clinical Instructor at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). After developing a highly successful esthetic restorative practice for 19 years, Dr. Adams moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2002 to become a full time faculty member as the Clinical Director at LVI. While there, he taught clinical skills and also lectured to dentists from around the world on combining the fine art of esthetic dentistry and neuromuscular rehabilitation, while maintaining a private practice. His love for private practice prompted him to come back to Indianapolis to focus entirely on patient care. He has published over 17 articles including co-authoring a chapter in the prestigious Dental Clinics of North America. His lecture schedule has taken him internationally teaching dentists the art of fusing form (esthetics) and function (Neuromuscular occlusion), it’s affect on the TMJ joint, and how to manage and treat these challenging cases. In his thought-provoking program, Dr. Adams revisits what we think we already know about occlusion and unveils a unique and different look at the key ingredients to a successful full mouth restorative case whether it be one or two arches being restored at the same time. Norman Thomas graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery with honours and double Gold Medals in 1957. Dr. Thomas was awarded a Nuffield Fellowship (Oxford) to complete an honours degree in medical sciences in 1960. Between 1960 and 1974, he pursued residency and research programs at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, The Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Medical College of Virginia, USA and the University of Alberta where he is now Professor Emeritus. From 1970 to 2002, Dr. Thomas served on the Medical Research Council of Canada, The National Institute of Health, USA and the Canadian Dental Association gaining a Certificate of Merit from the latter and several Fellowships in the medical sciences and dentistry. He is a Life Member of the Alberta Dental Association and retired from clinical practice in 2002. In 1988, Dr. Thomas was appointed Chancellor of the International College of Head and Neck Orthopedics and in that capacity, has lectured in the USA, Europe, Australia and Asia.
