Materials & Methods
This case was completed using a fully digital restorative workflow in collaboration with Aurum, utilizing the Proven Smile™ system to streamline planning, communication, and execution. Initial records included digital impressions and a digital diagnostic wax-up with the ACCES™ Bundle for
teeth 11, 12, 21, and 22, allowing aesthetic evaluation and design refinement prior to preparation.

Pre-operative take-home whitening was completed, followed by in-lab custom shade matching progressing from an initial B1 target to a finalized OM3 shade with reference photography. Definitive restorations consisted of four IPS e.max® ceramic veneers fabricated from printed iTero digital
impressions, with provisional restorations used to verify aesthetics and function prior to final delivery.

Case Overview

Allie came to see me for a veneer revision as she prepared for her upcoming wedding. Her initial restorations were placed about 10 years ago; she was happy with the proportions and shape, but had always disliked the shade.

Digital Planning & Smile Design

I completed a full digital workup with Aurum, updating the size and shape only slightly based on Allie’s requests. I provided take-home whitening prior to replacement, and then scheduled a custom shade-matching appointment with Aurum so Allie could choose the ideal shade. My goal was not only
to improve the shade, but also to add life-like characteristics through translucency and surface texture.

One of the aspects I value most when working with Aurum and the Proven Smile™ workflow is how intuitive and efficient the process is. The  communication is straightforward, expectations are clearly aligned from the beginning, and the digital tools make it easy to visualize outcomes and make informed decisions prior to treatment.

Delivery & Outcome

I delivered the case with virtually no adjustments needed, and Allie was thrilled with the outcome.

We achieved our goal of a brighter, improved shade while keeping everything looking very natural.

From a clinician’s perspective, the efficiency of delivery and consistency of results highlight the value of the Proven Smile™ system. Minimal adjustments and excellent fit made the appointment streamlined and stress-free.
