Sherry Blair Box

As Director of the Dynamic Team Program at the Las Vegas Institute, Sherry Blair shares her more than 37 years of experience managing each and every system within the dental practice. Sherry has combined her acquired knowledge and personal experience to create an inspired, effective and motivated curriculum that refines the systems surrounding the patient’s total experience in a dental practice. Sherry’s extensive exposure to most forms of practice management and dental systems, as well as her strong focus on patient satisfaction, make her uniquely qualified to enhance the effects of any dental practice.

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1994, Dr. Larry Winans moved to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to serve in an independent associateship. Less than two years later, he opened his own practice in the same town.

He started attending classes at the Las Vegas Institute journey in 1999 and quickly changed his practice vision to one with a high-end general/ aesthetic focus. Chosen by Bill Dickerson as one of ten dentists nationwide, Dr. Winans was featured in the book "Aesthetic Dentistry, 10 dentists who have done it." He was invited to become one of the youngest clinical instructors at LVI, and is a highly requested instructor for both the aesthetic and occlusion programs.

His professional practice continues to grow as the aesthetic and neuromuscular practice of choice for patients in Central Pennsylvania and beyond.

Ms Evelyn Ramsey

For six years, Evelyn was actively involved as Trainer, Consultant and Lecturer with “McKenzie Management” out of La Jolla, California representing both US and Canada. At the same time she was a Facilitator/Coach for Shepell.fgi here in Atlantic Canada.  Evelyn feels that it’s important to sometimes look outside one’s own small box to see other views, new ways of doing things and to welcome new concepts. She is also certified in DISC personality assessment.

Her career began in Moncton N.B., at the Royal Bank as a teller and then she moved to Riverview as a Receptionist for Dr. Don Fraser.   After 6 years she transferred to Manitoba to follow her RCMP spouse.  She worked for Employment and Immigration as an Employment Counselor and later for Employment Development Branch as an Operations Officer.  On her return to Nova Scotia she managed Penhorn Dental in Dartmouth and later Park Lane Dental Specialists in Halifax.  While with Park Lane Dental Specialists she joined McKenzie Management and later Shepell.fgi In 2012 she created byDesign Practice Management and has never looked back.

Evelyn brings extensive experience in working with Specialists Offices and General Dentists. Her background with Canada Employment and Immigration, Employment Development Branch and as an Employment Counselor helps her team build and address HR concerns that will save you money, while increasing production and net income.   She has been an Office Manager for over 21 years, with a large staff and has worked in both general dentistry and specialist’s office.  She believes in accountability, training and systems.   Her consulting experience has carried her from Vancouver to Newfoundland.  There isn’t much you can show her she hasn’t seen, so don’t be shy!
